Who we are
Empowering youth sports by teaching the most important skill athletes can learn: empathy.
At Empathy in Sports, we help young athletes grow into compassionate, resilient leaders. Through sport-specific training for players, coaches, and families, we show how teamwork, respect, and encouragement make every athlete—and every team—stronger.
Our Approach
1. Empathy-Based Training
We provide sport-specific training for athletes and coaches that goes beyond broad concepts like “respect” or “kindness.” Participants learn tangible ways to support teammates, celebrate effort and growth, and foster team culture—even in individual sports.
2. Empathetic Leadership
Coaches, mentors, and older athletes model empathy, humility, and inclusion, showing that character is as important as performance.
3. Family & Community Engagement
Parents and caregivers are essential partners in shaping a culture of empathy. Our programs help families reinforce encouragement, perspective, and respect at home and on the sidelines.
Why It Matters
Youth sports have the power to shape the people children become. When empathy, teamwork, and character are prioritized alongside competition, sports become environments where every athlete can grow, learn, and thrive.
